DevOps Engineering (Software Engineering)

At Intelliforce, engineering excellence meets mission-critical performance. As a DevOps Software Engineer supporting the HPC Integration & Test IV Task, you will design and maintain automation that accelerates development and deployment for high-performance computing systems. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning and configuration of HPC systems
Use Bash and Python to script and streamline system build, integration, and deployment workflows
Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
Manage software releases, ensuring version control, automation, and risk mitigation practices are followed
Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and stakeholders to enhance deployment efficiency and performance
Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (must be active). S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus three (3) years of experience
OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus five (5) years of experience
OR seven (7) years of software engineering experience in similar scope and complexity
Linux command-line and system tools experience
Bash and Python scripting for automation
Release management best practices, versioning, and risk management
Software build and release management with multiple programming languages
CI/CD principles and pipeline development (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, CircleCI)
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
