Physician - Hematology and Oncology - Hematologist/Oncologist

We are seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a long-term outpatient locum opportunity in Ohio, beginning November 2026. This is an approximately one-year assignment with potential to extend, offering a four-day workweek with no call or weekend coverage.
Assignment Details

• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Approximately 1 year with potential to extend
• Full-time coverage preferred
• 3 weeks per month may be considered
• May consider 2 physicians splitting coverage at approximately 2 weeks per month each

~8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• No weekday call
• No weekend call
• No weekend onsite coverage

• 100% outpatient
• Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Multiple outpatient clinic locations
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology
Evaluate and manage new and established patients
Cancer and hematologic disease management
Treatment planning and follow-up
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary clinical teams
Ability to provide both Hematology and Oncology coverage preferred
Support Staff
Medical Oncologists
APPs
RNs
MAs/LPNs
Care Coordinators
Dietician
Social Work
Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certification required
Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
Active Ohio medical license required
IMLC accepted if it results in an active Ohio license
Credentialing
Approximately 2 3 months
Full-time availability is prioritized
