Day Shift 10 hours/day 4 days/week
Join our team at WCS Healthcare Partners as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to successful patient outcomes and the overall efficiency of our surgical team.
Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and supplies, maintaining a sterile environment.
Monitor patients' vital signs and provide necessary interventions during surgery.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Document patient information accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
Valid RN license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
