Staff Pharmacist PER DIEM (PRN) in Fort Worth, TX- the HELP Center and North Texas Area Community Health Center Pharmacies

VytlOne (Formerly Maxor National Pharmacy Services) is seeking a dedicated,caring and compassionate Staff Pharmacist Per Diem (PRN) to join our amazing team at both of our Fort Worth managed pharmacies. This is your chance to work in a clinic-based pharmacies that prioritizes a team-based approach, collaborating closely with providers and clinic staff, to ensure optimal care for patients.VytlOne manages both of these pharmacies.

The HELP Center for LGBT Health + Wellness

Founded in 1994 to address a critical need to connect health education and prevention services to marginalized populations – those who found it difficult or impossible to access programs addressing their specific and unique characteristics in a culturally appropriate manner, HELP has consistently expanded and adapted. Our focus is on making vitally needed care available to at-risk adolescents and adults, HIV positive individuals, ethnic and sexual minorities, and the LGBT community as a whole.

North Texas Area Community Health Centers

We are a community family medical practice that offers a full-range of primary and preventative healthcare services to our patients. We use a patient-centered approach to help patients make the best decisions for their health. Our team of highly qualified, dedicated medical professionals work closely with patients to ensure that they receive the care they need to get well and stay healthy.

Estimated Pay is $70 per hour to float between both locations.

In the absence of store Pharmacist-In-Charge/Pharmacy Manager, may be required to act as the alternate store leader, responsible for managing ongoing functions of the pharmacy.

Maintain inventory and records of controlled drugs and other drugs as required by law.

Supervise pharmacy technicians in routine performance of their duties.

Participate in inventory control programs such as ordering, inventorying and monitoring correct pricing and quantities.

Attend and participate in programs, committees, meetings, and functions as required by the facility or pharmacy.

Participate in pharmacy orientation programs, pharmacy staff meetings and in-service educational programs.

Exemplify excellence in customer communications and service.

Participate in the Performance Improvement Program.

Maintains regular attendance in accordance with established policies.

Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.

Complete required training and ensure the departmental staff training is completed as required.

May assist management with hiring and training competent staff.

On a biweekly basis, verify departmental timesheets for departmental employees ensuring the timesheets are accurate based on the work-schedule and necessary corrections are done prior to Payroll submission.

Develop and mentor departmental staff by providing career coaching; understand and support diversity; May assist with conducting initial and annual performance evaluations.

Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. from an approved school of pharmacy and registration by the state board of licensure.

Clear/Active License to practice pharmacy in TX

Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.

Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
