Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry - Assessment & Critical Care UnitThis position requires 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, following a 4 on/4 off schedule with mandatory weekends every other week.Location: Titusville, FLAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide high acuity patient care in a mixed unit environment, demonstrating strong telemetry experience and rapid response team involvement.Responsibilities:Provide patient care to adults and geriatrics in a high-acuity mixed unit.Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage cardiac drips (no titration).Administer medication and maintain IV lines, including central line care.Care for patients with chest tubes, post-operative joint replacements, and those experiencing CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident).Perform rapid assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Participate in the Rapid Response team as needed.Maintain effective communication with patients and their families regarding care plans.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an RN in a Med Surg/Telemetry or similar setting.Current licensure as an RN in Florida or a compact state.ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications required.Experience working with total joints is highly preferred.Strong telemetry experience is mandatory.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
