Custodian/Facilities Maintenance (Evening)

Performs janitorial duties necessary to maintain and protect the assigned areas of responsibility. Ensures that external and internal appearance of a building is clean, organized and meets Company standards.

Clean and make minor repair to building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms/locker rooms using established practices and procedures.
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture, sweep, mop, or vacuum floors.
Clean all windows indoors.
Clean and sanitize lunchrooms floors, furniture, and counters.
This will be a 2nd Shift / 2:00 PM- 10:00 PM Monday - Friday position located at our Plant in Walker, MI .

Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests.

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of professional janitorial experience.

Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day including Saturday and Sunday
Proven experience as janitor or in a similar role.
Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
Able to work with little supervision
