Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Lafayette, IN. This position involves providing compassionate and skilled patient care on a 27-30 bed Medical Surgical unit, with a focus on orthopedics, general surgeries, GI issues, renal, oncology, and medical patients. The role requires independent practice within a fast-paced environment, supporting patient recovery and safety.

Schedule: Nights, 1800-0630, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: BLS, NIHSS certification, 3 years of experience, Epic EMR experience, previous travel Med/Surg experience, telemetry, general and ortho post-op care, managing Heparin drips, blood administration

Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assisting with post-operative recovery, and ensuring patient safety.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Prior to the first day, candidates must complete CBTs and may test out of Epic education based on prior experience.
