Product Development EngineerThe Sr. Product Development Engineer will develop disposable and durable products for the OCS (Organ Care System) product lines. Responsible for CAD design, prototyping, and testing of new concepts and iterating through the design process.Perform thorough analysis (tolerance, dFMEA, DOE, statistical) to ensure product will meet design requirements.Manage injection mold suppliers through the tool development process and ensure conformance to specifications.Assist V&V testing with protocols, reports, fixtures, and TMVs.5% Domestic or International travel may be required.Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical, or equivalent required.3 years in a lead role developing Class II or III disposables and/or electromechanical medical equipment.Competent in Solidworks 3D CAD.Biomedical Engineering degree preferred.Previous experience with V&V and clinical lab testing.Project management experience & Six Sigma Green Belt desired.Ability to use power tools and light machine shop equipment.As part of our long-term growth plans, TransMedics is excited to announce our plan to relocate our headquarters (HQ) to Somerville, MA by 2028.
