Registered Nurse (RN) - First Assist - Surgery Shift

This position involves participating in a kidney call rotation and providing on-call support for surgical procedures. Candidates will be responsible for both scrubbing and circulating during surgeries, requiring proficiency in multiple surgical specialties.
Shift Details
Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour shifts (12:30 PM - 8:00 PM)
Kidney call rotation:
Monday to Friday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Saturday and Sunday: 24 hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM
General call rotation on weekends: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Holiday call rotation: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (no kidney call on holidays)
Available shift options: 4x10s or 3x12s
Proficient in robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, orthopedic/spine, vascular, urology, gynecology, transplant, and cardiovascular surgeries
Experience with a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to:
Bariatric surgeries
Transplant surgeries
Robotic-assisted surgeries
Urology and gynecology procedures
~ Ability to efficiently count sponges and related items in collaboration with the circulating nurse
The role requires flexibility to float between nearby facilities as needed. Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
