Histotechnician - Histology - Full Time

As a Histology Technician/Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks required for receiving, processing, and preparing patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis by the Pathologists' Assistant and Pathologist. Fulltime, 72 hours biweekly (0.9 FTE)
Monday - Friday day shifts, starting at 8a with call rotation
Orientation would be variable day shifts (start times range between 5a to 8a)
Starting pay of $25.96 per hour and up, based on your years of experience
What You'll Need (Histology Technician):

• Associate degree with a combination of 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry (must include credit hours in both), or ASCP board-certified HT/HTL
• 1 year of current or previous healthcare, laboratory or research work experience required
• American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification within 2 years of hire
• We will train the skills and provide the books and study materials needed to pass the boards
• Knowledge of biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential for success in this role
