Parts Store Manager

The Company Texas AirSystems is the largest independent HVAC Equipment and Solutions provider in Texas. Our company has grown to five offices and over 400 employees throughout Texas, with headquarters in Irving, next to the DFW airport. We represent over 60 manufacturers, offering innovative systems with a flexibility of equipment and solutions to best match each application. We work with industry professionals and end users from the conceptual stage of projects to provide energy efficient, value-added solutions to their complex problems

The Opportunity We are a rapidly growing manufacturer's rep firm based in Texas that represents commercial HVAC products. We are currently seeking a Parts Counter Sales person responsible for processing customer orders and responding to customer's inquiries. Must have attention to detail, be customer service oriented and work well with others. This position needs a self-motivated team player who can be an active part of our team and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities Conducts sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone, by email, and over the counter.

Promptly identify parts and process quotes & orders for customers.

Actively makes customers aware of product promotions.

May load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.

Responds to customer inquiries, questions, or concerns regarding products or services.

Records inventory discrepancies

Follows up with customers

Determines best method to resolve customer issues

Develop & maintain relationships with customers and our business partners

Exhibits strong organizational and customer service skills.

Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

The Required Profile High school diploma or GED equivalent

Computer skills are essential, HVAC Parts background is preferred

HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus.

Other Skills/Abilities Language Skills

Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Environmental Requirements Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms.
