Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Relocation Offered!

This Emergency Department RN role is based in Palatka, FL at a 99-bed acute care hospital serving North Central Florida, featuring a 24-hour emergency department, 10-bed ICU, and cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role. The ER RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care by recording symptoms, monitoring changes in condition, interpreting diagnostic test results, and modifying treatment plans in response to patient status and physician orders. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate admissions and discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care through thorough documentation and clear communication across nursing teams. Patient and family education is a meaningful part of this position, with the nurse guiding patients and their support systems through condition management, medications, and self-care skills. The role also involves preparing patients for examinations and treatments, delegating and supervising support personnel, and maintaining proper operation of clinical equipment.

What we’re looking for

Associate Degree in Nursing

Minimum 1 year of acute care emergency department experience required

Active Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required; compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
