Now Hiring: Sales Manager
In this role, you’ll build and nurture group accounts within assigned market segments through thoughtful, relationship-focused sales efforts while helping the resort achieve and exceed its revenue goals.

This role is based at our Sandusky, Ohio resort, and we’re open to discussing remote flexibility for candidates located in the Cleveland market.

Salary - $60,000 - $85,000 + Bonus Eligible:
Potential to earn over 200% of your salary in sales incentives in your first year
Develop and manage group accounts within assigned market segments, generating new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, site visits, and community involvement.
Build lasting relationships with meeting planners, government contacts, associations, schools, military groups, religious organizations, and other group leaders.
Manage the sales process from lead response through proposals, negotiations, property tours, and closing, while maintaining accurate CRM records, reports, and forecasts.
Collaborate with Revenue Management, Convention Services, and resort leadership, and represent Kalahari at trade shows, industry events, networking functions, and community activities.

Previous hotel, resort, convention center, hospitality, or related sales experience, with the ability to identify and prospect appropriate opportunities through the platform.
Demonstrated success building relationships and generating new business, supported by strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple accounts, market segments, priorities, and deadlines.
Experience with group sales, SMERF business, government accounts, Delphi, or a pre-opening environment is preferred.
