FACILITY & SAFETY

Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, take responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.

PURCHASING

Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
Administers on-line purchasing systems.
Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

TOOLS, FLEET & INVENTORY

Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; document recording and data entry into system.
Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
Responsible for tool inventory and control: § Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.
Ability to organize and prioritize your own work schedule and the work schedules of others on short-term basis.

COMPUTER SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:

~ Solid working knowledge of use of the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
