RN / Perioperative Nursing Job in D

The OR RN Suites provides specialized perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment. Candidates will assist with a variety of ophthalmologic and minor surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
Prepare the operating room and surgical equipment for ophthalmology procedures, including cataracts and corneal surgeries.
Scrub in and assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
Circulate and monitor patients throughout ambulatory surgery cases, addressing any clinical needs immediately.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient case flow and patient care.
Document all clinical interactions accurately and timely in compliance with hospital policies.
Respond promptly to call shifts and float to other surgical departments as needed.
Validate a minimum of 2 years of recent OR or ophthalmology nursing/technologist experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in ophthalmologic procedures such as cataracts and corneal surgeries independently.
Possess a valid driver’s license outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
Exhibit strong scrubbing and circulating skills in outpatient surgical settings.
