Registered Nurse Physicians Immediate Care

Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Opportunity
Contract opportunity available for our Corporate Health Center in Portland, OR (Kenton area). Pay Rate: $50.00/hr
Work Schedule:

• 3:00pm to 11:30pm (Monday to Friday)
• 40 hours per week

Responsible for medical surveillance appointments including hearing testing and injury triage and evaluation
Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines.
Performs occupational and health screening tests as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
Assess healthcare needs, then implement and manage healthcare programs to improve health and facilitate return to work, maintain OSHA records/reports and worker medical files.
Identifies emergency situations and provides care.
Administers medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician
Qualifications:

RNs with prior occupational health, ER or ambulatory care experience preferred.
Currently licensed Registered Nurse
Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
