Labor and Delivery Nurse

Schedule: Nights 12 hours - 36 hours guaranteed

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery with Level 1 experience
• BLS AHA certification
• ACLS AHA certification
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification
• AWHONN certification

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.

Monitor mother and baby's vital signs and well-being during labor.

Assist in delivering babies, ensuring a safe and healthy childbirth experience.

Provide postpartum care and education to new parents and families.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Document patient information and care activities accurately.

Compliance/Notes:

Following the clinical interview process.

Drug screening and background checks may be required.

Orientation procedures will be provided.
