TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78411!

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Rotating Weekends
Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
Administer medications accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
Document all patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record (Meditech EMR)
Communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary care team
Float to other Med/Surg units as needed
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of acute Medical/Surgical experience within the past year
Proficiency with standard nursing equipment and EMR documentation
2 or more years of acute Medical/Surgical experience within the past year
~ Background in orthopedics, neurosurgery, or Medical/Surgical Telemetry
