Salary Range $38.00 - $38.00 Hourly

Description

Beverly Farm Foundation is a loving, caring home for adults with developmental disabilities, providing each individual with physical and emotional security and a dignified quality of life, with opportunities and challenges, within each individual's functional capabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Proper administration of all medications.

Responsibility for the ordering and maintaining of adequate supply of medication for each resident

Assure all treatments are accomplished with proper procedures.

Assure that each resident's chart is kept current.

Assure that all immunizations, records, lab work, physical exams, consultation notes, and all required forms are in place

Participate in IDT staffing's offering input and opinion and establishing realistic short-term and long-term goals

Provide immediate first aid treatment to residents and employees in case of accident or injury.

Attend necessary training and building shift change meetings as required by the supervisor/facility.

Continuously endeavor to improve the health and welfare of each resident.

Perform general nursing duties as required.

Assist all other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Licensed Practical Nurse, graduate of accredited school of nursing, current and valid Illinois license, experience with the intellectually disabled preferred.
