Provide high-quality nursing care for oncology patients in a progressive care setting
Monitor and interpret telemetry, including cardiac rhythms and ABGs
Manage patient needs such as IV insertions, fluid management, and medication administration
Care for PICC lines, central lines, and peripheral lines
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient safety and optimal outcomes
Handle specialized procedures like chest tubes, external CPAP/BIPAP, and airway management
Ensure infection prevention and fall protocols are strictly followed
Support pediatric oncology patients where applicable
What You Need
Required:
Active RN license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience with at least 1 year in PCU
BCLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
Ability to perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and manage complex patient care
Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, and line management
Preferred:
Oncology experience (not required)
Experience with chemotherapy and special procedures
Skills in wound care, arterial lines, or surgical drains
Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
