Hospitalist Physician - Night Shift

Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician Opportunity Rural New Mexico

$175/hour Flexible Scheduling W2 or 1099 Options

Delphi Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a rural New Mexico hospital as a Night Hospitalist Physician .

This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a low-volume nocturnist position with flexibility, autonomy, and strong overnight support.

Position Highlights

Compensation: Approximately $175/hour

Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Flexible scheduling options:

7 on / 7 off

10 on / 10 off

14 on / 14 off

W2 or 1099 employment options

One-year contract

Anticipated start date: October 1, 2026

Clinical Practice

12-bed inpatient unit

Average of only 1 3 admissions per night

Telemedicine physician support available overnight

Family Medicine physicians may manage pediatric and OB patients

Internal Medicine physicians welcome; pediatric telemedicine support available as needed

No current ICU; plans underway to add a 3-bed open ICU

Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Active medical license or ability to obtain

Strong inpatient medicine experience preferred
