Temporary Parking Attendant
The City of La Crosse is seeking to hire a temporary Parking Attendant for the La Crosse Regional Airport. This position is responsible for supporting airport parking lot operations and assisting with the collection of parking fees. This temporary position will work 12 hours per week. Work schedules will vary based on the scheduled airline and charter arrivals and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starting wage is $15.00 per hour. Position is limited term and does not acquire benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and stock parking equipment
Conduct license plate inventory
Handle cash
Perform customer service
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid motor vehicle operator's license required
Physical and Mental Abilities Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Comfortable using standard office equipment such as printers, scanners and phone
Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel and general public
Motivated, responsible, and have excellent time management skills
Ability to work with and assist a wide variety of personalities
Comfortable working outdoors in adverse weather conditions
