monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; informing violators of policy and procedures.
Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Maintain safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
Investigates suspicious customer and/or employee activity.
One to three years of experience in retail loss prevention, security, or law enforcement preferred
Extensive knowledge of retail operations and loss prevention strategies and procedures
Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills
Ability to read/interpret documents
Excellent fluency with the English language; fluent in Spanish language is a plus
Ability to wear "many hats" and be flexible
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to resolve complex issues in creative ways
Must be able to work a flexible schedule with various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as determined by the business needs
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

• Starting hourly rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and will vary based on things like location, experience, and qualifications. All positions are eligible for Overtime, and some positions will have guaranteed Overtime available.

Hourly rate for Suburban Stores is $15-$20
Hourly rate for City of Chicago Stores is $16.60-$20
