Dishwasher Position

The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of the Won't Stop Hospitality kitchen. Energetic, hardworking, and detail-oriented, this position ensures that all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to company standards. The Dishwasher contributes directly to the guest experience by supporting a clean, safe, and efficient back-of-house operation. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment, the Dishwasher upholds the company's radically different and radically better service philosophy through teamwork, consistency, and pride in every task.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the organization and flow of the dishwashing area.

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils as they arrive throughout the shift.

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.

Ensure all cleaned items are properly sanitized, dried, and stored according to company and health standards.

Manage the safe use and handling of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.

Replenish clean dishes, utensils, and glassware to designated stations and service areas.

Assist with light prep work as needed.

Sweep, mop, and maintain a clean, dry, and safe working floor in the dish area.

Demonstrate a "clean as you go" mentality at all times.

Communicate effectively with back-of-house and front-of-house team members to support service flow.

Adhere to Won't Stop Hospitality Inc. policies.

Practice "clean as you go" habits and complete assigned closing or side work duties.

Uphold all company food safety, sanitation, and labeling policies.

Other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to work collaboratively under the direction of the Kitchen Manager and BoH Shift Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred. Must demonstrate basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prep procedures.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary. Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moment's notice.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
