We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

Join our close-knit team of 15 physicians and 3 APPs at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo.

Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are supportive and collaborative with other staff and departments.

We have multiple committees that our providers can lead or join.

Qualifications

Board‑certified/eligible physician assistants.

Hospitalist experience is required.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7‑days‑on, 7‑days off rotation.

Shifts for our nocturnist position are scheduled 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

We are entertaining candidates for full‑time, part‑time, and PRN shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Our night clinician will perform admissions in addition to cross coverage.

The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7. Procedures and codes are not required.

We use EPIC EMR and have access to our internal informatics platform.

Rewards and Compensation

• 170K base salary, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth. Excellent total rewards package.
