Endoscopy Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position for an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN). The RN will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
Schedule
The position offers a day shift schedule of 5x8 hours, from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, with weekend on-call requirements of one weekend per month and overnight call shifts.
Responsibilities

Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
Perform endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
Manage patient care pre- and post-procedure.
Maintain sterile technique and manage instruments during procedures.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN, specifically in the endoscopy specialty.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs as necessary.
Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
