Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Night Shift)
Lee's Summit, MO | Acute Care
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend Required | 48 Hours Guaranteed
Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on both day and night shifts
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings via bedside and nurses' station screens; Perform IV starts and manage Alaris IV pumps and Dynamap (WelchAllyn) equipment
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Conduct bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounds, and maintain personal patient connections following AIDET communication standards
Float to orthopedic or telemetry units as needed based on staffing requirements and verified competencies
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or a compact state
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or Medical-Surgical RN experience
Strong time management skills in a high-acuity, fast-paced unit environment
Proficient IV start skills and experience with telemetry monitoring equipment
Demonstrated commitment to patient experience and relationship-centered care
