Job Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Location
North Charleston, SC
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3 - 12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation)
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, managing critical patients and supporting procedures performed on the unit.
Responsibilities
Care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including those on ventilators.
Participate in bedside shift reports for patient handoff.
Administer advanced treatments and procedures, including CRRT, advanced hemodynamics, and phlebotomy.
Support neuro procedures for conditions such as aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Utilize mobile technology and Meditech documentation systems in patient care.
Float to emergency department or PCU as needed based on staffing requirements.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 36 months of RN experience, including at least 12 months in an ICU.
• Successful completion of at least one travel nursing assignment (preferably in a Meditech facility).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• Preferred: BSN, advanced certifications, and TNCC certification.
