What You'll Do

Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care

Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation

Assist with toileting and activities of daily living

Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed

Provide companionship and emotional support

Perform light housekeeping related to patient care

Follow the established plan of care

Observe and report changes in patient condition

Complete required documentation

Help patients remain safe and comfortable at home

Qualifications

Home Health Aide training/certification meeting Washington, DC requirements

Current CPR/BLS Certification preferred

Dependable transportation to patient assignments

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable attendance and commitment to accepted assignments

Ability to work independently in patients' homes

Previous Home Health or Personal Care Experience Preferred
