Mental Health Care Provider

We are currently hiring full‑time Psychiatric Clinicians for our Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT). Full Time Position: 40 Hours, Monday‑Friday 9 AM to 7 PM and Saturday or Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM. This position requires a weekend shift per week; there is flexibility on weekday schedule. A sign‑on bonus of $2,500.00 is offered. Sign‑on bonuses are paid in two installments: the first payment is made after 30 days of employment, and the second payment is made after six months of successful employment.

The MCAT program is designed to avoid hospitalizations, minimize police intervention, and link crisis callers to long‑term services in the community. The program serves residents in Columbia and Greene Counties using a three‑pronged system of response: Go into the community to assess individuals in the midst of a mental health crisis.

Intervene in crisis situations over the phone.

Network with various agencies in Columbia and Greene counties.

Conduct follow‑up case management.

Document all work activities thoroughly. Technological competency in databases, Microsoft products, and other tools is required.

Must be a practitioner possessing a license or permit from the New York State Education Department as an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or RN with at least two years’ experience.

Ability to maintain professional relationships with staff, providers, participants, and the community.

Ability to work with a diverse population of urban, suburban and rural cultures and with community members from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.

Demonstrate a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

Must be able to work regularly outside the office and in the field to engage with clients.

Familiarity with Greene County and knowledge of managed care is a plus.
