Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients in the step-down unit, including assessment, planning, and patient/family education

Administer medications, including cardiac drips and other IV therapies, and monitor responses per protocol

Monitor patient status and telemetry data, interpret clinical information, and escalatel changes to the care team as needed

Document accurately in the Epic EMR and participate in rounds, care coordination, and discharge planning

Support dementia care and behavior management as appropriate, while maintaining patient safety and comfort

May float to related units as needed and adhere to professional nursing standards and facility policies

Requirements

Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license recognized by New Hampshire

BLS (AHA) certification; ACLS (AHA) certification

2+ years of Med/Surg experience; cardiac drip experience; dementia care/management experience

EPIC EMR experience required; NIHSS strongly preferred

Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Must have own vehicle for travel assignments

RTO acceptance: requests up to 5 days; Halloween (Oct 31) not approved for this assignment
