Physician- Neurology Full-Time (Physician #)

Providence Medical Group is seeking a full‑time, board‑eligible/board‑certified Movement Disorder Neurologist to join the team at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The ideal candidate is experienced and/or trained in the medical and surgical workup and management of patients with refractory Parkinson disease, tremor, dystonia and other related movement disorders. Facilities in Spokane include a 644‑bed Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and its own dedicated children's hospital, a 272‑bed Providence Holy Family Hospital in North Spokane, and subspecialty neurology outpatient clinics throughout the city. Position Details

Full‑time position

100% movement disorder, no general neurology required

No clinic or hospital/ED call due to 24/7 inpatient Neurohospitalist coverage to support patient emergencies

Collaborate with Providence system movement disorder neurologists

Support from neuro‑trained nurse practitioners, research coordinators, outpatient neurologists specializing in epilepsy, MS, neuromuscular/ALS, autonomic dysfunction, stroke, sleep, headache, neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation

Resident and medical student teaching and mentoring opportunities with optional clinical faculty appointments through University of Washington School of Medicine and/or Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is between $318,823 and $406,440 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Qualifications & Requirements

Fellowship training in movement disorders required

Experience and interest in deep brain stimulator (DBS) programming and botox preferred

Interest in DBS is desirable
