Join Our Team as a PACU RN Job Description: - Embrace the mission and values of our healthcare community. - Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) under the guidance of medical staff. - Master critical competencies to provide top-notch care for critically ill patients. - Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. - Ensure comprehensive clinical documentation and care plans are timely and accurate. - Stay updated on current practice standards (ANA, NH Nurse Practice Act, Specialty standards). - Foster effective communication for seamless patient care through hand-offs and collaborative rounds. - Promote patient safety through resource and initiative implementation. - Perform hourly rounding in collaboration with Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) for all assigned patients. - Proactively identify and assist in remedying safety concerns in patient care. - Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance among colleagues. - Collaborate across units and shifts to resolve conflicts and challenges promptly. - Consult with nursing peers for shared expertise and best practices. - Share responsibilities and mentor nursing students and less experienced staff. - Participate in peer reviews and maintain readiness for DNV surveys. - Commit to ongoing professional development and training. Requirements: - Current New Hampshire RN license required. - Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to completion of orientation. - Graduate of an accredited Nursing program preferred. - Less than 1 year of critical care experience; Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
