$18.95/hr once qualified $24.07/hr+
This role follows a 12-hour shift schedule with a rotation of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days offproviding a three-day weekend every other week, along with opportunities for overtime. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTSDAY SHIFT OR NIGHT SHIFT ASSIGNED.
The Opportunity:
~ The General Laborer will safely perform a variety of tasks, including stacking corrugated products, conducting quality checks, completing material set-ups, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a desire to learn manufacturing processes, operate complex machinery, and grow within the company.

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Operate various manufacturing equipment and follow detailed instructions.
Use hand tools and perform additional duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
Read a tape measure and perform basic math and computer tasks.
Physically perform tasks involving lifting or pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, navigating stairs, and standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for the full shift.
Receive raw materials, assist team members with cleaning, machine setup, and operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
Operate various manufacturing equipment and follow detailed instructions.
