Service Engineer II - Hybrid
Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers, (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers. Providence offers hybrid work for candidates residing within a daily commuting radius - up to 65 miles - from any of our primary office locations listed below:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering. Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).
Strong understanding of iOS/iPadOS configuration, security, and enterprise features. Including understanding network requirements for device usage.
Has experience working with cellular vendors to support cellular devices (iPhones/iPads/non-smart phones/mobile hotspots).
Working knowledge of application deployment and mobile security controls.
Has exposure and experience in report writing and dashboard creation, preferably in PowerBI.
Has experience in managing and supporting telecom billing, specifically for mobile network providers (Verizon/FirstNet).
Has experience with database management and SQL.
