Job Description
Registered Nurse - Women & Infant Float Pool
Schedule
Call and weekend coverage required.
Assignment Details
Float between Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience.
Current RN license (compact or state).
Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
Preferred: AWHONN Advanced, EFM experience.
Key clinical skills: Labor & delivery and postpartum nursing, newborn assessment and couplet care, IV management, medication administration, blood product administration.
Responsibilities
Provide care to maternal and newborn patients in various settings.
Assess and manage high-risk obstetric patients.
Monitor fetal well-being and interpret fetal monitoring data.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
Support patient education and family involvement in care.

Compliance / Notes
Two professional references required; one must be a manager or director. Strict compliance with credentialing processes is necessary.
