Responsibilities

Participate in a small, collaborative, dynamic team environment closely integrated with customers and contractors on the Trinity program.

Ensure consistency of requirements and traceability back to customer objectives.

Develop verification details for requirements to ensure that the system meets the requirements.

Support the successful execution of program Interim Design Reviews.

Act as a systems integrator between multiple technical teams on the program.

Develop systems engineering documentation such as feature description documents, trade studies, and Interface Control Documents.

Basic Qualifications

Experience working with Agile teams leveraging Scrum or Kanban.

Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment.

Experience developing Systems Engineering artifacts (e.g., requirements, architecture, procedures).

Prior experience with Ground Systems for Space Missions.

Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Desired Skills

Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and proficiency with systems engineering toolsets.

Experience with system engineering artifacts, processes, and models with respect to ground systems to manage and/or control space missions.

Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross-Functional Agile teams and Capability-based planning.

Experience with Systems Engineering tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Ability to interact with software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied.

Ability to understand complex Space mission command and control concepts.

Experience with Integration testing, software testing, system testing, and independent verification and validation as well as operational system checkout.

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and deploying applications to test environments.

Experience writing, reviewing, tracing, and verifying requirements.

Experience developing system architectures.

Experience working with external interfaces and generating documentation (e.g., ICDs) to support integration with those interfaces.

Familiarity with scripting and/or demo preparation, planning, and execution.

Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; a US Citizen is required. Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must maintain the required clearance throughout employment.
