SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND ANALYSIS

Akkodis is recruiting for a Systems Engineer III for an aerospace manufacturer in the Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA locations. These are onsite contract to hire positions with pay range of $40 an hour to $65 an hour depending on education, experience and location.
The Systems Engineering team supports multiple programs and disciplines. We are seeking talented, flexible engineers a desire to learn varying skillsets. Collaborate with internal teams to define and document mission objectives, system requirements, and operational concepts.
Support requirements traceability and verification planning
Translate customer and mission needs into actionable engineering solutions, ensuring alignment with technical and programmatic constraints.
Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and customers.
Develop system-level integration and verification plans, conducting end-to-end testing to validate mission requirements.
Support mission operations teams during testing and real-time mission execution. Desire to develop both subsystem domain knowledge and Systems Engineering skills

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Citizen and eligible for DoD TS/SCI or TS/SAP U.S. government security clearance.

Experience in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
Strong track record leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles
Demonstrated expertise with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience working with government agencies, primes, or subcontractors on space missions
Pay Details: $40.00 to $65.00 per hour
