We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Assisted Living Kitchen Chef to join our team at Colonnades Assisted Living Center in Bay City, Michigan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents, while upholding our commitment to quality care and service. Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals and snacks to our residents, catering to their dietary needs and preferences

Develop and implement menus that are both healthy and appetizing, taking into account seasonal ingredients and resident requests

Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure timely and efficient service

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards

Collaborate with other culinary staff to ensure seamless service and menu execution

Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff

Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as needed
