Part Time Dental Hygienist-Health

Part‑time position for 2 days per month at the Thornton, Colorado clinic.

Responsibilities

Ensures residents feel comfortable before their examination.

Sterilizes dental instruments.

Conducts initial mouth screenings and checks oral health history.

Identifies conditions such as gingivitis, cavities, or periodontitis.

Cleans and protects residents' teeth (e.g., removes plaque or applies fluoride).

Educates residents on proper tooth care by demonstrating brushing techniques.

Provides postoperative instructions after dental procedures.

Assists dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases, including oral cancer.

Maintains documentation and charts for each resident.

Requirements

Valid Colorado Dental Hygienist License.

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.

In‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

Outstanding communication skills.

Job Type

Part‑time – 2 days per month.

Salary

$50.00 – $55.00 per hour.
