Finance Estimator

Overview We are seeking a Cost Accountant with a strong business partnering mindset to support decision-making and analytics across our manufacturing operations. This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Operations and plays a critical part in helping leaders understand performance, identify trends, and drive informed operational and financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Decision Support Serve as a trusted finance partner to Operations and Manufacturing leaders.

Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities throughout the month.

Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to support enterprise-level decision-making and advance digital and analytical maturity across manufacturing.

Manufacturing Cost & Performance Analytics Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, materials, overhead, and inventory movements.

Deliver timely reporting and insights to Manufacturing FP&A and operational teams.

Identify cost drivers and performance trends impacting margin and efficiency.

Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

Manage allocations and intercompany eliminations (Revenue, COGS, Inventory).

Planning, Budgeting & Standard Cost Management Prepare SAP for each planning cycle (accounts, cost centers, elements).

Develop, maintain, and refine standard costs for labor, overhead, and materials.

Partner with Operations to explain cost drivers, tradeoffs, and implications.

Controls, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Maintain inventory classifications and system integrity.

Audit SAP controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Support internal and external audits; Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

5+ years of accounting experience.

3+ years of cost or manufacturing accounting experience.

Preferred Strong SAP experience.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Business Partner Profile Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand how the business operates.
