Warehouse Person/3rd Shift/Nights

Anderson Erickson Dairy is a family-owned company and has been in business for over 90 years. We pride ourselves on being a home-grown Iowa company with roots that run deep in the local community. Shift hours will vary from week to week. Overnight scheduled hours are set hours of Sunday night thru Thursday night 9pm to 5:30am; day shift schedule will vary from week to week working 5 days 8 hour shifts Monday through Saturday depending on when and where they need coverage. This is a manual labor full-time on-site role, with the ability to work additional overtime.

Responsible for scanning and document all products coming into cooler.

Picking product for various customers.

Manually loading picked product onto trailers for various customers

Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment (crane operation when certified).

Monitor product for quality control and report any issues to supervisor as needed

This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.

Experience with equipment operation, preferably in food manufacturing, but not required

Experience working in a warehouse setting preferred

Understanding and adherence to quality control procedures

Good record-keeping skills to accurately document operations

Continual manual movement of empty and full cases and stacks, within the warehouse by using a hook. with full stacks weighing up to 288 lbs.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be able to communicate in English (Verbal, Reading, Writing).
