HR Generalist/Employee Relations/Payroll

We are eagerly seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist with a penchant for optimizing processes and resolving challenges. Responsibilities span across various HR domains including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and more. Requirements \

Key Responsibilities:

Administer bi -weekly payroll including analyzing and inputting data such as garnishments, leave accruals, and deductions. \

Oversee the recruitment process, collaborating with managers to identify, interview, and onboard qualified candidates. \

Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed. \

Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. \

Coordinate meetings to educate employees on benefits and distribute necessary notices. \

Develop and maintain affirmative action programs and ensure compliance with EEO regulations. \

Compile and submit OSHA and worker's compensation reports annually. \

Handle employee relations matters, escalating complex issues to the Senior HR Manager. \

Conduct stay and exit interviews, maintaining trend data for retention strategies. \

Manage accurate employee records in HRIS and other databases. \\

Qualifications:

\

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field. \

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in HR Generalist or similar roles, with specific experience in California. \

Three (3) years of payroll processing experience required. \

Proficiency with HRIS systems; Kronos experience is advantageous. \

Intermediate knowledge of California Wage & Hour laws. \

Familiarity with FMLA regulations and other employment laws. \

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. \

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \

Strong organizational and project management abilities. \

Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. \\
