Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours. Start date: 08/24/2026, end date: 11/23/2026, duration: 13 weeks.

Description: 3x12's, days, 7a-7p. On-call requirement: nights, weekends, and holidays included. On-call is typically 1 night a week. Weekends and holidays required. No block scheduling. No locals, 50 mile radius. Peds experience in the OR required. One year of main hospital PACU experience required. Peds experience needed.

BLS, ACLS, PALS required. Client offers! Candidates will be reviewed/interviewed by MGR. Must include RTO in submittal in order to be honored at time of offer! Traveler is expected to float to like acuities or less if needed.

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a highly skilled 8 bay unit. Patients are transported immediately after surgery to PACU to be monitored on a 1 nurse to 1 patient ratio. PACU staff manage patient airways, pain levels, vital signs, and all other post surgical needs before transporting the patient back to ASU for continued observation. PACU is part of the Surgical Services, is a team-based entity with emphasis on delivering patient satisfaction and patient safety. All of our areas work together to ensure patients have a positive experience during their stay at Onslow Memorial Hospital. We put the latest surgical technology and equipment in the hands of board-certified surgeons and experienced nurses.
