CNA -NURSING CARE

Job TitleEssential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating, ensuring comfort and dignity with focus in hospitality.Monitor residents' vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood-pressure.Support residents in moving safely, whether through walking, transferring from bed to wheelchair, or repositioning to prevent pressure ulcers.Effectively communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team to relay important information regarding resident health and well-being.Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to hygiene and infection control protocols, including proper disposal of waste and sanitization procedures.Accurately record care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any incidents in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and respectful environment.Support nursing team with clinical tasks and participate in care plan meetings to enhance the quality of care for the residents.Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in long-term care.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
