Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team and is responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as needed, provide patient education, and accurately document patient care and responses.
The candidate must be willing and able to function in Charge Nurse and Preceptor roles when required.
Required Qualifications
Active RN License
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
Previous critical care nursing experience required
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
No licensure or background disciplinary actions
Required Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Local travelers may be subject to a reduced local pay rate.
Candidates with license or background hits/actions will not be considered.
Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid.
The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
