Contract Duration: 6 Months +
3+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong Java development skills or demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to Java
• Solid SQL experience
• Knowledge of website design and usability
• BS or BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Experience delivering enterprise software
Experience diagnosing and resolving application and database performance, scalability, and concurrency issues
Experience with Google Cloud

Hands-on development of robust, well-tested application functionality
Participate in a modified Scrum environment, including specification, estimation, and division of work
Conduct peer code reviews to identify bugs, performance concerns, security issues, and opportunities to improve code quality

Perform unit and system-level testing across applications and affected systems
Implement application designs with consideration for performance, caching, state management, error logging, scalability, configuration, and testing
