Warehouse AssociatePosition Overview:The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock.Responsibilities/Job Duties:Welcome delivery trucksPick up orders from vendorsPick up and deliver parts to other company warehousesReceive, track, and unload shipmentsEmbark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate toolsAccommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandiseTrack and document exact shipment arrival and departure timesTag and label merchandiseLabel and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.Box, wrap and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standardsPrepare all orders for shipmentRecord and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise itemsOperate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)Enter data in inventory and logistics software programsOrganize stock and merchandise within the warehouse properlyPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:• High school graduation OR GED• Age 21 or older• Three years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, or plumbing parts sales organization• Significant experience in using Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe Acrobat, and an inventory management software package• Ability to identify parts in engineering drawings• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment• Prefer oilfield equipment, preferably compressor, parts sales experiencePhysical Requirements:• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds• Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents• Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone
