JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-70620 Profession: Physician Specialty: Electrophysiology Job Type: Locum Tenens/Locum-to-Perm Location: Fairfield, OH Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Feb 01, 2027 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 7a-5p Call Schedule: Nights & weekends (9 weekends per year) % of Practice: 25% OP, 75% IP Reason for Coverage: Vacancy Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult, Geriatric Average Daily Volume: 4-5 Case Mix: Cardiac Electrophysiology FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: I EMR: Epic No. of Beds: 214 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 3-4 months REQUIRED PROCEDURES: Ablations/pacers/ICDs/BiVs JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Electrophysiology Active Ohio license or willing to obtain Active DEA certification Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience; Fellowship required Disclose if you have worked in the same facility before (discuss with the recruiter: facility name, last date worked, agency) Duties & Responsibilities Perform electrophysiology studies and ablations for arrhythmias. Implant and manage pacemakers, ICDs, and BiV devices. Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services. Participate in call coverage including weekends. Collaborate with cardiology team and teaching if applicable.
