Warehouse Person - Distribution

Warehouse Worker
Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.
Location: Paragould, Arkansas
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 an hr.
Essential Job Functions

Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to job site
Work as a team to meet desired sales goals and distribution levels, while following all safety procedures and guidelines.
Job Duties
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Prepares material for shipment and takes proper care of all equipment.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Gathers materials from tickets for customers from stock and loads orders on customer's vehicle or delivery truck, and has all customers sign completed orders.
Operates forklift in order to transport items for storage and to pick up items from several locations for shipment.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
